Julia Ciciora is passionate about providing an equitable education for all of her students. Mrs. Ciciora seeks to inspire students to be curious about the world around them by teaching them enduring scientific and mathematics skills that can be translated to many aspects of students’ lives. 

Mrs. Ciciora is currently apart of the STEM I team at Brooks, and teaches 9th grade integrated math and 7th grade inquiry science. Every year, the team works on further integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through real world experiences. Mrs. Ciciora is piloting personlized learning in her classes. Benefits of  personalized learning include:

• Student can work at his/her own pace.

• Teacher is able to work individually with students where the student needs the help.

• Students learn practical skills for working individually, in small groups, and on practical projects and applications.

• Students can track their progress through an online platform and receive more targeted practice for the things they need more help with.

• Helps with organization and due dates.  

• Students can access everything outside of school.
