Track and Field's Results at Grand Rapids Meet

Over the Christmas break athletes of the Brooks Track and Field have had excellent performance at the New Balance sponsored track meet in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Alexze Whatley ran a person record and broke Brooks school indoor record of 23.5 for the 200 meter dash and personal record and few hundred of tenth off the 400 record of 51.55. As season progresses we see Alexze Whatley as potential City, Sectional, and potential state champ.

Javier Frausto ran a personal record and now rank in the top 10 Illinois runners with a time of 2:02.59. Javier is on pace to break the school record and win the city and sectional championship as well.

The new upcoming under class men super star Justin Houston ran an excellent time of 52.63 earning him a spot on the current top 400 runners in the state. Brooks Boys Track and Field are on fire and blazing the track.
