Brooks High School Chess Team won 1st Place in the K-12 Reserve Section U1100 at the Greater Chicago Chess Tournament held at McCormick Place on Feb. 2, 2019.  There were over 500 participants from multiple states competing in this event.

Benjamin Garza led the team with 4/5. wins, followed by
