BE BROOKS!
Students parking in the school lot must have a parking permit. Purchase them from Mr. Bayon for $25. CARS PARKED WITHOUT A PERMIT WILL BE TOWED.
All students taking AP courses will take the AP exam. Students with free or reduced lunch must pay $10 per AP exam. All others must pay $80 per exam. See Mr. Bayon in the main office to pay your balance.
BE SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS AND RESPONSIVE
On Saturday, April 15th, Brooks Math Team participated in the City of Chicago Math League Finals.
Brooks finalized the season in the fourth place overall in Division C.
Team awards were given to our awesome Precalc Team, who took the first place and to the Geometry Team, who took the second place.
Individual awards were announced and the winners were:
- Daniel Cassanova - second place in Precalc
- Kailie Patrick - third place in Precalc
- Josue Sandoval - third place in Geometry
- Rodeline Philipe - fourth place in Algebra 1
Brooks Club Fair was held today, October 28, 2015, in the Main Gym. The Club Fair showcased most of our available clubs at Brooks such as Video Game Club, POW (Power of Women), Student Ambassadors, and many more.The turn out of this event was great, and students were introduced to new and exciting things.

We have noticed a number of you have not registered (paid annual dues or handed copies of important documents).
Students should report to school even if they are not registered. We split registration dates to reduce wait times and to serve families better. Students should come to school even if they have not registered

If you are interested in transferring to Brooks for the Fall of 2015, please download and fill out the form posted below. Application information can be typed directly into the form, or the form can be completed by hand. Application materials must be submitted in ONE LARGE ENVELOPE.

November's nomination for Dr. Howard Staff of the Month Award was Aurora Diaz-Meraz.
Mrs. Meraz is one of the three dedicated counselors at Brooks.
Here is what some of the voting students and staff had to say about her:
"She goes above and beyond as a counselor. She makes your worst stories sound normal. She is the shoulder to cry on. She wants everyone to succeed and does an excellent job of showing it by being on us about scholarships, applications, etc."
