Dear Prospective Students and Visitors to our Website: Welcome to the best school on the planet! In seven short years, Gwendolyn Brooks has developed into one of Chicago's premier high schools. Located in historic Pullman/Roseland, the forty-acre campus is breathtakingly beautiful. Our students are diverse, spirited, hard working, creative and epitomize what high school students should be. Our students have participated in many competitions and won numerous awards and recognition for their outstanding work.
We have a talented teaching staff that show their commitment to teaching through effective methodologies, professional development and infusion of technology. Our staff is award winning and nationally recognized. We continue to educate students who are ready for the 21st century and able to compete as global leaders.
