Good afternoon Wonderful Brooks Students-
With homecoming quickly approaching, we want to ensure you have a safe, fun ("lit/T'ed up"), and respectful homecoming experience. Listed below are the logistics and expectations for homecoming week.
Thank you PSAC (Principal Student Advisory Council) for planning and organizing all the homecoming events! They have been working extremely hard on your behalf to ensure you have a great homecoming experience. Thank you PSAC!!
PSAC will send out the homecoming ballot this week, so be on the lookout for that email!

High School Homecoming Dance:
- The homecoming dance will be Saturday, October 13th from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
- You can invite two guests to the dance.
- You must turn in a visitor form for your guest(s) to Mr. McCoy by noon Oct. 12th.
- Visitor forms will be available in the Main Office and were also emailed out to you by Mr. McCoy.
- Any guests not on the guest list will not be allowed to attend.
- Your guest(s) must have a school ID and be accompanied by a Brooks student.
AC Homecoming Dance:
- The AC homecoming Dance will be Friday, October 12th from 4:00-7:30 p.m.
- You can invite two guests to the dance. They must be in 7th or 8th grade. No HS students are allowed entry.
- You must turn in a visitor form for your guest(s) to Mr. McCoy by 3:30 Oct. 11th.
- Visitor forms will be available in the Main Office and were also emailed out to you by Mr. McCoy
- Any guests not on the guest list will not be allowed to attend.
- Your guest(s) must have a school ID and be accompanied by a Brooks student.
All School Pep Rally:
- Pep Rally will be Friday, October 12th from 11:10-12:15 p.m.
- You will be dismissed by floor at 10:55 a.m.
- You must be present and in class for the entire day to attend the pep rally!
- Remember to bring your belongings with you to the pep rally because you will not be able to return to the main building to go to your locker.
Hallway Decorations:
- Students can hang up hallway decorations for homecoming week tomorrow and Friday from 3:45-5:30.
- Come to the 2nd-floor center to get your decorations from PSAC (Principal Student Advisory Council).
- Any students caught hazing during Homecoming Week (including but not limited to tearing down decorations, class pranks, silly string, etc.) will not be permitted to participate in the pep rally and dance. In addition, students will also receive an in-school suspension and a phone call home.
Hazing (Behavioral Expectations):
- Just to reiterate, any students caught hazing during Homecoming Week (including but not limited to tearing down decorations, class pranks, silly string, etc.) will not be permitted to participate in the pep rally and dance. In addition, students will also receive an in-school suspension and a phone call home.
- Any hazing products brought to school will be confiscated and an in-school suspension will be issued.
- If you fail to serve and/or miss two of your detentions, you will not be allowed to attend the homecoming dance and you will have to serve a C Day detention.
High School and AC Homecoming Dance Entry:
- Tickets will be sold at the door.
- AC and HS Wristbands will be distributed on Friday, October 12th after the pep rally ends based on the criteria below. Only students who want to see if they qualify for a wristband will be allowed to stay in the gym. Everyone else will need to exit the building.
- Remember to bring your belongings with you to the pep rally because you will not be able to return to the main building and go to your locker.
- If you lose your wristband or fail to obtain it during that time, you will pay full price at the door.

- 2 or less tardies
- 0 Fs
