  • All students who need to take ID pictures or need to receive their ID picture, please see Mr. Rodgers during your lunch.
  • Get your Eagle Pass. The Eagle Pass gets you in to all non- playoff home and away football game, home basketball games, volleyball games, intramural programs, and the school plays for $50. Please purchase your Eagle Pass with Mr. Bayon in the main office. See Ms. Lufrano for more details.
  • All students who purchased Eagle Passes see MS. Lufrano for your pass.
  • Computer Club meets in the library on Wednesdays after school.
  • Intramural Basketball Begins Wednesday, September 18: Times and brackets will be posted in the main hallway and outside Ms Lufrano's room during lunch hours.
  • Ms. Lufrano is looking for student athletic assistants.  email her if you are interested. 
  • The fall play has been changed. We will be producing Alice in Wonderland, the zany tale of a girl who gets lost in a dream. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 22 and 23, at 4:00 in the auditorium. Rehearsals will start next Thursday. Audition material will be provided. Come be a part of the adventure!
  • Be sure to check the white board outside the counseling department door to see what colleges are visiting each day! 
  • Night School and Saturday School Registration has started. Please see your counselor during your lunch period for applications.
  • Sign up online for the Best Aviation Program with Ms. Santoyo. 
  • Curriculum Night is September 25th from 6 to 8.  
  • The Brooks Parent Club is sponsoring a homecoming T-Shirt design contest. The winner will be announced at the Pep Rally and their T-Shirt will be produced and sold for this year's homecoming! Check your CPS email for details. Submissions are due on Tuesday, Sept. 17th.
  • Spirit Week is September 30 – October 5th
  • Homecoming Dance is on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 7:00 pm – 10:00pm.
  • Homecoming Game is on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 starting at 7:00pm at Gately Stadium.
  • Intramural basketball has begun for any student who enjoys the game.  You can sign up as a team or as an individual.  Details are on the school website.  There will be a captains meeting in room 225 today after school.  Please turn in your forms to Ms Lufrano or Roy Blake.  
  • Ladies, get your grade level powder puff football teams together to try and take down the championship teacher team.  Practice begins next week and games will begin the first week in October. Sign up sheets are posted below the basketball intramural forms on the Brooks Website.
  • Juniors and Seniors- The Ace Mentoring Free Program introduces students to careers in architecture, engineering and construction management. Students are place in mentoring teams with volunteer architects, engineers and construction  managers. See your counselor for more information.
  • Students interested in careers in medicine who would like to attend a National Youth Leadership Forum hosted by Envision should see your counselor for more information.
  • The NHS next meeting will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Ms. David’s room .
  • Did you know Colorado Mesa University is the largest growing university in Colorado? Come hear more about Colorado Mesa University at the Brooks College Fair October 1 at 6 pm. All grades are encouraged to come. Be sure to bring your family!
