  • Senior yearbook photos will take place Wednesday, December 11 from 12:15-3:00.  Underclassmen yearbook photos will take place Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13 during lunch periods.  All photos will be taken in the auditorium foyer.
  • Computer Club and Guitar Club meet on Tuesdays, from 3:35 to 4:35 in Room 229. 
  • Students: Please fill out the online survey about next semester's seminars! Super important!
  • Want to win tickets to the Bulls Game? Applications for the Sprite Chicago MVPs are now available, check your CPS email for more details.
  • All students participating in a field trip are responsible for visiting their teachers to receive assignments and missed information prior to the trip. Please keep this in mind when you go on your next trip. 
  • Seniors-Do you need service learning hours for graduation? In honor of Jane Addams' Month of Service, students may complete a 15 hour service learning project related to the principles of Hull House. This project calls for a commitment of two days (Wednesday, December 11 from 1-4pm and Saturday, December 14 from 9-12pm). There are ten spots available. Please see Ms. Yackee in Room 131 for more details and to sign up. Don't delay-spots are filling up fast.
  • Coats, toys, for the girls and boys! It's that time of year again to donate gently used coats and new toys for families in need in the Roseland community! The advisory who brings the most items wins a pizza party!
  • The next student council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday in Room 131 immediately after school.
  • The Brooks Parent Club Holiday Giveaway is for Brooks students and families in need of warm clothing. To submit your request, check your CPS email. Submit by December 13th.
  • Any girl who is interested in softball please attend conditioning this Thursday.  We will be conditioning outside room 225 every Tuesday and Thursday. 
  • Juniors and Seniors: Do you have at least a 3.0 GPA? Would you like to earn $180 for one day pf work? We are recruiting student election judges for the March election. If you are interested in applying, please see Ms. Yackee in Room 131 for an application.
  • Be sure to check the white board outside the counseling department door to see what colleges are visiting each day! 
  • Counselor Workshops on Study Skills/Time Management have begun.  Students are allowed to bring their lunch to the workshops. Sign up outside the Counseling Office today!
